Pressured for a victory, Anthony Pettis tells how he plans the duel against Raush Manfio for PFL #6

Still dreaming of a place in the semifinals, 'Showtime' detailed the changes he made to his game and promised to seek the fight on his feet during the fight

Needing a win over Raush Manfio in this Friday's PFL (25), the North American dedicated himself to improving his game during his preparation. The former lightweight champion (up to 70,3kg) stated that he focused on improving his stand-up fighting and explained how he intends to defeat the Brazilian fighter. The statement was given in an interview with 'MMA Junkie'.

“I immediately focused on my boxing. I'm going to use a lot more hands in this fight. I have been posting on social media. Raush knows what I'm going to do. I'm going to put my hands on him and I'm not going to force kicks or anything flashy. You will see a fight well fought and with intelligence on my part”, said Pettis.

Showing respect for his opponent, the 'showtime' demonstrated that he had studied the game of Raush Manfio and told what he intends to do to emerge victorious.

“He has a heavy right hand, is good at counter punching and has a good left hook. When his back is turned, he doesn't look for submissions. My game plan is to knock him out. In the fight, I will find my rhythm, I will build a reach and as soon as I find that reach, it's show time”, concluded the North American.
