UFC representative since 2013, Correia had her best moment in the organization in 2015, when she was selected to compete for the bantamweight title against the legendary Ronda Rousey. The Brazilian was in a position to challenge the champion of the season after three consecutive victories.
After the loss to the North American, Bethe fluctuated in the company, winning two of the seven fights she had afterwards. The 38-year-old from Paraíba's last commitment took place in July 2020, when she was surpassed by Pannie kianzad.
After the latest setback, Tupiniquim confirmed that they had negotiated a farewell fight. Now, the athlete is preparing to face her compatriot Karol Rosa, who is undefeated in Ultimate.
In the UFC since July last season, Karol arrived at the company as a promise of the category led by Amanda nunes. In two presentations, the Espírito Santo came out victorious and will be responsible for trying to ruin the veteran's party.
A professional in MMA since 2012, Correia currently has 17 appearances in the sport. The Paraíba native has 11 wins, five defeats and one draw.
Like Bethe, Rosa, 26, also debuted in mixed martial arts almost 10 years ago. The athlete has 14 triumphs and three setbacks in 17 commitments. Currently, Espírito Santo is 14th in the division led by Amanda nunes.
