Matt Brown's victory over Dhiego Lima No. UFC Las Vegas 29 removed, at least temporarily, speculation about the North American's possible retirement. The veteran stated that he plans to fight for a while longer and assumed that he would like to face Nate or Nick Diaz. The statement was given in an interview after the show last Saturday (19).

“I love fighting, it’s all I know how to do. Just set one up camp training and put all the pieces of the puzzle together. That's what determines how much I'm able to fight, not my desire, because it's still there. I still want to get in the Octagon and fight a bunch of people like I did tonight (Saturday),” said Matt Brown.

Without thinking about hanging up his gloves, at least for now, the American stated that he would like to face one of the Diaz brothers, Nate or Nick.

“I love the Diaz brothers and of course it would be a great fight. This is one of those fights that if I took it, it wouldn't be because I don't like them or anything like that. I would accept it because it would be a great challenge and I respect them a lot”, concluded the North American.

With the victory over Lima, 'Imortal' broke its streak of two consecutive defeats. A veteran of mixed martial arts, Matt has been signed to the UFC since 2008. The American has a record of 23 triumphs and 18 setbacks.
