An injury was the justification presented by the Ultimate organization when announcing the cut of Dan Hardy from UFC on FOX 7, on April 20th. However, the English athlete himself went public, through his account on Twitter, clarify that the diagnosis of Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome was the cause of his dismissal.

Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome is a rare cardiac arrhythmia that affects an average of four in every 100 people. Despite the simple diagnosis and the existence of medical treatment, WPW, as it is known, can lead to death in some cases due to excessive exercise or sports.
