On the eve of a boxing fight, Anderson Silva says he is happy for the opportunity against former champion

MMA legend, Anderson Silva is close to finally making his boxing debut. The Brazilian, who faces Júlio Cesar Chávez Jr. next Saturday (19), reveals that he is happy with the opportunity to face a former champion of the 'noble art' and says that he trained for a long time to be able to migrate to the sport.

“(Boxing) is an incredible, traditional sport. I'm lucky to have the opportunity to box against an incredible name, to be on the same card as Júlio César Chávez and to fight his son. I’m very happy,” he saysSpider’ in an interview with the North American website ‘B.J. Penn.com'.

When asked what his expectations are for the fight, Anderson says he just wants to enjoy the experience and have fun in the ring.

“I have been training boxing for many years. In Brazil I fought professionally, of course, not at the same level. I just try to enjoy the moment and do my best to send a good message to each person who follows me and cheers for me”, concluded the Brazilian.
