Aaron Pico's excellent performance in his victory over Aiden Lee at Bellator 260 excited organization president Scott Coker. The president praised the North American's evolution compared to his last fight and showed excitement with the level of play presented by his company's fighter. The statement was given in an interview after the show last Friday (11).

“What I saw tonight (Friday) was spectacular, tremendous growth from when I last saw him fight. The frequency with which he will fight now will be greater than before and I think that by the end of the year he will be back. Soon, he will be able to face the best guys in the category”, said Cooker.
Excited about his performance, the 'boss' commented on Pico's level of performance and stated that he will talk to the promise team about his next steps in the organization.
“I saw a lot of combinations that I've never seen Aaron do before and I think his level of acting has gone up drastically. We're going to have a talk with his team and his coach and see what they're thinking, but he was incredible tonight. The guy Pico was fighting was no joke, he was impressive”, concluded Scott.
Current number six in the featherweight rankings (up to 65,7kg), Aaron Pico has been on the back of four consecutive victories. His last defeat was in June 2019 to Adam Borics. The fighter has a record of eight triumphs and three setbacks.
