Colby Covington calls Nate Diaz an 'easy fight' and takes shots at Leon Edwars

North American questions the quality of opponents faced by the Englishman in recent years

The former interim welterweight champion (up to 77,1 kg.) Colby covington, as is customary, attacked his competitors again in an interview. The current target is Leon edwards. In conversation with 'MMA Junior', he questioned the opponents faced by the Englishman.

“He likes to pick these easy fights with these guys who aren't even relevant to the division and I hope he gets a little hype because nobody cares about him. The guy is literally useless. It makes sense that 'Scissorhands' Leon edwards want to fight with Nate diaz, another loser and unranked” said Covington.

Recently, UFC president Dana White confirmed Covington will be the next challenger for Kamaru Usman for the welterweight belt. The 'loudmouth' then awaits the date for a rematch against the current group champion.

While Colby has a guaranteed place to fight for the title, Edwards will need to beat Diaz to get to the fight he dreams of. The 'big boss' of Ultimate guaranteed the winner of the clash as next in line, after giving 'Chaos' a chance.
