“Jones achieved success early, at just 20 years old in the light heavyweight division. But now, he is focused on becoming heavyweight champion and also has his commitment to himself as a professional athlete. I don't think we've seen the Jon Jones most dangerous thing there is. This version will be the biggest we’ve ever seen from him,” said the coach.

Jones' coach believes that the former light heavyweight leader is fully capable of shining in the new division and explained why. The coach at the 'Jackson-Wink MMA' gym stated that the plan is to have a long reign in the new weight division, just as Jones did in the under-93kg division.

“I think Jon with his strength, with his size, his skills and the repertoire that he's bringing to the heavyweight division, he's going to really shake things up. We are not just looking to win the heavyweight belt, we also want to defend it several times just like we did with the light heavyweight belt”, concluded Jones
