President of Bellator opens the organization's doors to YouTubers after fight with Mayweather

Convinced by Logan Paul's performance against a boxing legend, the president admits negotiating with an influencer for a test in MMA

After enduring eight rounds against one of the best boxers of all time, Logan Paul caught the attention of Scott Coker, president of Bellator. Convinced by the performance of the youtuber facing Floyd Mayweather, in a super boxing fight, the president opened the doors of his organization to the digital influencer. In an interview with 'MMA fighting', the 'boss' admitted negotiating with the combatant.

“I think the kid showed skill against Floyd Mayweather, but we also know he was a wrestler of respect in Ohio (USA). I think he's getting better at combat sports. If he wants to test himself in MMA, we would do that,” said Coker.

Impressed with the performance of youtuber In front of the multi-time boxing champion, Scott continued to praise Logan. For the president, even if the influencer didn't dominate the veteran, enduring eight rounds against a legend is something memorable.

“The fight against Floyd, come on. How many people could do this? Lasted eight rounds against Floyd. You can't say that at some point Mayweather wasn't trying to break up the fight. To me, it's a win for Logan, as far as I'm concerned. I think Logan has increased his value”, revealed the Bellator president.

In closing, Coker made a point of leaving the organization's doors to the youtuber. The 'boss' concluded by stating that, if Paul wants to test himself in MMA, Bellator is, in fact, a possibility.

“Now, they want to focus on boxing, but, if there is a possibility, I would put him in the cage”, he concluded.
