After 'fingering' rival, Nuguette speaks out after 'no result' fight at UFC Vegas 28

Out of combat after being poked in the eye, Brazilian suggests another fight against the promising Mason Jones

One of the Brazilian representatives at the UFC Las Vegas 28, Alan Nuguette It wasn't an easy life inside the octagon this Saturday (5). Opponent of Mason Jones on the preliminary card, the Amazonian experienced difficult times against an aggressive opponent, but ended up being unable to continue in the dispute after being hit by a finger in the eye which was decisive for the 'I didn't answer' in the second round. After the event, the athlete spoke out on social media and asked for a rematch against the Welsh prospect.

“I have a long history within the UFC. There are 18 fights in total and, in all of them, I fought until the end. Accidents happen and, unfortunately, it happened to me. My vision was completely blurred and I was unable to continue. Now, it’s time to rest and recover”, wrote the athlete, in his profile on Instagram.

In Ultimate since 2013, Alan doesn't care about just any opponent for his new challenge. According to the Brazilian, his desire is to exchange forces with Jones again, to resolve any pending issues.

“I hope I can have the next fight with the same opponent, so that it is fair for everyone”, he concluded.

At 37 years old, Nuguette reached the mark of 19 fights as a professional in MMA. Now, the combatant has 15 triumphs, three setbacks and one 'unsuccessful' duel.
