About to come out of retirement for an exhibition fight, Floyd Mayweather is confident for the fight against Logan Paul. At the half day for the event, the boxing legend guarantees that he will defeat the YouTuber easily and reveals that he has already earned US$30 million (around R$153 million) just in preparation for the duel. The fight takes place this Sunday (6), at the Hard Rock Stadium, in Miami (USA).

“I'm going to fight a YouTuber who thinks he's a real fighter and I'm making crazy money for it. I've already made $30 million just preparing for the fight,” declared the 'Money', as it is known.
Asked about opting for superfights in his most recent presentations – against Conor McGregor and now, Logan Paul – the American explained that he deserved a break after years of fighting against athletes at the highest level of the 'noble art'. For him, the time has come to enjoy other challenges in his career, even though he remains undefeated in 50 fights.
“Boxing was the 'mashed potatoes'. Now, guys like McGregor, Nasukawa and Paul are just the sauce. (…) I'm still undefeated in my career. The best thing about all this is to think that I still have a record of 50 wins and no losses”, added the fighter.
At 44 years old, Floyd Mayweather is considered, by many, as the greatest fighter in the history of boxing. In his career, there are 50 triumphs – 27 of which were by knockout – and no setbacks. His last official duel in the 'noble art' took place in 2017, when he knocked out Conor McGregor in the tenth round, in a fight held in Las Vegas (USA).
