TUF 29 coaches, Volkanovski and Ortega respond to Covington's criticism of UFC's choice

After 'Chaos' stated that the two athletes would not bring entertainment to the program, the fighters responded through their social networks

After suffer criticism from Colby Covington for being chosen as TUF 29 coaches, Alexander Volkanovsky e Brian ortega responded through their social networks. Through 'Twitter', the featherweight fighters (up to 65,7kg) defended themselves from 'attacks' by 'Chaos' and countered the North American's provocations.

“Covington, why are you so angry? Get back to fighting soon! You literally play a character to stay relevant,” Volkanovski wrote.

“I don't know why Covington hates TUF. I didn't even want that. Masvidal came out to fight (against Usman) and you were left aside. My fight fell through (due to Volkanovski testing positive for Covid-19) and we got the call to do the show. I didn't call anyone about the show, they contacted me. Now, I'm glad you stayed out of it”, added the 'T-City'.

Returning after a two-year hiatus, the new edition of 'The Ultimate Fighter' will be led by the featherweights (up to 65,7kg) Alexander Volkanovsky e Brian ortega. The reality show will be competed by bantamweight (up to 61,2kg) and middleweight (up to 83,9kg) athletes. The program’s debut in the United States is scheduled for June 1st.
