A serious injury to Chris Weidman No. UFC 261, in April, shocked the entire MMA community. The North American broke his leg in a similar injury suffered by Anderson Silva, precisely against the ‘All-American’. However, the recovery of the former middleweight champion up to (83.9 kg.) is impressive. Just 35 days after the compound fracture, the fighter was able to walk again without the aid of crutches (see the video below).

Weidman did part of his recovery at the Performance Rehabilitation Association in Charlotte (USA), and walked on the treadmill without gravity for the first time. The fighter did not hide his happiness at taking his first steps without a crutch.

Once home, Weidman seems to have gotten excited about training. The fighter, without crutches or any assistance, took a few steps with a smile on his face (see the video below).
