The confrontation between TJ Dillashaw e Cory Sandhagen Scheduled for July 24th, it got an extra ‘pepper’ behind the scenes. ‘’s training partnerSandman', Justin Wetzell accused the former bantamweight champion (up to 61,2kg) of sending athletes from his gym to spy on his opponent's training. The statement was given in an interview with the channel ‘Lynch On Sports'.

“Yes, he had some guys from Duane Ludwig’s (TJ’s head coach) gym come to our training camp. sparring. I wasn't there that day, but I heard this story from other people. When Cory came in to fight, they pulled out their phones and started recording. Later, we found out some of them even posted it on Instagram, so that was it,” Justin accused.

Cory's training partner was surprised by Dillashaw's attitude but stated that it would not affect the outcome of the fight.

“A little surprising that TJ would ask his team to spy on us. I don't know what kind of man he is but I don't think that's going to help him,” concluded Wetzell.
