Carla esparza is excited about the possibility of wearing the strawweight belt (up to 52,1kg) in Ultimate again. After having a gala performance in front of XiaonanYan No. UFC Las Vegas 27, the American once again asked for a title shot against Rose namajunas.

“We started this division together. Round 2? #Respect”, wrote Esparza on his official account on 'Twitter'.

It is the second 'request' for the strawweight division title (up to 52,1kg) made by Esparza. At the post-fight press conference, she had already asked for the chance. The contestants have already faced each other in the 'The Ultimate Fighter' 20. On that occasion, Carla submitted Namajunas in the third round. The fight was valid for the first title fight in the category.

Carla esparza, however, faces tough competition. Ultimate's president, Dana White, stated that he wants to promote the rematch between Rose namajunas and Zhang Weili. For the organization's president, at the current moment, there is still no right answer as to who the current champion's next rival will be.

The North American is riding a streak of five consecutive victories. In her record, she has 18 wins and six losses in her career.
