Since rumors about the fight against Chris Weidman emerged, Anderson Silva was silent. But as soon as the duel was confirmed for UFC 162, on July 6th, the Brazilian decided to analyze his next challenge. In an interview with reporter Tracy Lee's YouTube channel, “Spider” said he is happy and ready for the challenge against the North American.

“I'm very, very excited for my next fight. Thank you, UFC, thank you, Dana. I'm very excited,” said Anderson, who will take part in the training at his academy in the United States.
“I never really stop my training, because I like training. I like my life and fighting. I'm very happy to start my training at my school, very happy for my coaches, friends and students”, concluded the champion.
