One of the biggest names in recent UFC history, Kamaru Usman did not hide his admiration for the achievement of Charles of the Bronx last weekend. The welterweight champion (up to 77kg), however, ended up remembering the former lightweight leader (up to 70,3kg) and suggested that the Brazilian would not beat the Russian in an eventual fight. The statement was made in an interview with 'TMZ Sports'.

“For the fans, it would be an interesting fight (Do Bronx x Khabib). Anyone who really understands (fighting) knows what would happen in this confrontation. I think Khabib followed the duel (Charles x Chandler). Was he intrigued? Probably not. He is a man who is happy with his life,” said the Nigerian.

“I'm impressed with him (Charles) and I'm a big fan of what he's been able to achieve in his career. I just think there are levels in the sport and Khabib is on another level”, he concluded.
