In the duel against André Sergipano, valid for the preliminary card of the UFC 262 which took place last Saturday (15), Ronaldo Jacare is proof that the impossible does not exist in MMA. In a Brazilian fight, the veteran – who is considered one of the greatest legends in jiu-jitsu – was submitted for the first time and fractured his humerus.

On his social networks, Jacaré recorded his return to the hospital room after the successful surgery. At a certain moment of confusion due to the anesthesia, the Brazilian still appeared groggy and reported only having a slight pain in his neck.
“The surgery is over, everything went well, Thank God,” wrote Jacaré.
In the duel against Sergipano, Jacaré was the victim of an armbar and suffered a blow to his humerus, which was soon identified by the match referee. Then he didn't even have to give up.
One of the main names in the recent history of middleweight MMA, Jacaré needed a positive result to get back on track to winning ways. With the setback, the Brazilian now has his fourth negative result in a row, in addition to suffering his first submission. He has 26 wins and 10 losses on his record.
