The good news doesn't end Charles of the Bronx. Living the best moment of his career, the athlete has plenty of reasons to celebrate. In addition to winning the Ultimate lightweight belt (up to 70,3kg), earning more than R$390 in bonuses and breaking the record for victories in the fast lane, the São Paulo native had a great surprise on social media.

After the triumph over Michael chandler No. UFC 262, when he knocked him out and assumed the throne left by Khabib Nurmagomedov, the Brazilian saw his number of fans on Instagram increase considerably. Now with 1 million followers, Do Bronx will have more people closely following his moment of glory.

"Thank you family. Today we hit 1 million followers”, wrote Charles.

The fans' engagement with the Brazilian is due to the athlete's great performance last weekend. Moments before climbing into the octagon to face Chandler, Do Bronx had around 620 thousand followers on the social network.

With the victory over Michael, Do Bronx made history and became the second Brazilian in history to win the title. The first was Rafael dos Anjos, which led the category between 2015 and 2016.
