The intensity of the fight between Wanderlei Silva and Brian Stann at UFC on Fuel TV 8, also known as UFC Japan 2013, appears to have only stayed inside the Octagon. After the fight, backstage at Saitama Super Arena, the two met in a friendly atmosphere. The scene was captured by the Brazilian's coach, Rafael Cordeiro, and posted on Instagram.
“I would like to thank everyone who participated and believed in this work since its beginning and say that this victory is for all of you. Congratulations Wanderlei Silva, for everything he has done for the growth of this sport. Brian Stann, you are truly a soldier who gives himself in battle. May God continue to bless you always in your missions”, he published along with the image on the social network.
