Considered an Ultimate bet for the future, Shahbazyan, this Saturday, would return to the octagon after suffering his first defeat as a professional in MMA. In August 2020, the 23-year-old was brutally beaten by the veteran Derek Brunson, and the rise in the division was momentarily interrupted.

Like Edmen, Hermansson is also looking to get back on track to winning in Ultimate. In December, the Swede was dominated by Marvin vettori and walked away from the chance to challenge the current group champion, Israel adesanya.

Today, Hermansson occupies seventh place in the division led by the Nigerian. Behind, Shahbazyan appears in 10th.
