In an electrifying duel, Renan Problem overcame the initial pressure and knocked out Fabricio Werdum in the main fight of PFL 3 this Thursday (6). The Brazilian managed to free himself from a triangle and continued hitting 'Vai Cavalo' until the referee interrupted. With this, he achieved the biggest victory of his career and six points in the heavyweight rankings (up to 120,2kg).

After the fight, Fabricio Werdum he complained about his opponent's supposed withdrawal while applying the triangle. The veteran encounters his tenth career setback and has a record of 24 positive results, as well as a draw.
Coming from LFA, Problema starts off on the right foot in the organization and now has a record of seven wins and two losses.
The fight
Electrifying from the start. Fabricio Werdum He started with a flying move and got the takedown in the opening seconds.
On top, he managed to transition to mount, but Renan Problem manages to sweep and escape the triangle.
He still managed to land hard blows on 'Vai Cavalo', before controlling the back and continuing to hit until the referee stopped him.

After the fight, Fabricio Werdum indicated that Renan Problem would have hit the triangle. In fact, he insisted on seeing the knockout and, in a post-fight interview, stated that he felt the 'three slaps'.
“I think everyone saw the fight and he hit. I have to respect my opponent and I didn't want to break his arm, so I dropped it. But he kept hitting me. This is a slap to me. I've been fighting for 23 years, when he hits like that, I have to stop. In my mind, I was done, so I stopped,” Werdum said.
