Johnny Eduardo trains hard to face Minotaurinho

The Rio striker Johnny Eduardo, who will be one of the attractions at Win Fight & Entertainment, which takes place on the 28th, at Wet'n Wild, in Salvador, Bahia, told this week how his training is going, as he will have a tough fight ahead, against Francisco Minotaurinho, weighing 65 kg.

Nova União athlete, Johnny Eduardo He has 19 fights on his record, with 11 wins and eight losses. “I'm in a very good training rhythm, always training a lot of ground and a lot of Muay Thai, too. I know that my opponent is a tough guy, very strong, but I'm confident and I'm going to Bahia to try for another victory for my record”, he believes.

Before even fighting, Johnny is already enjoying the WFE organization. “Unlike most of the events I participate in, at the WFE I knew who my opponent would be well in advance. This is good because it allows me to prepare well. I found out about my fight about four months before and I'm training hard for this fight,” he reveals.

Considered favorite due to his great experience, having played in major national and international events, Johnny is confident, but doesn't feel like he's already won. “I don't consider myself a favorite, but a guy who has a lot of desire, a lot of determination to succeed in life and achieve my goals. I believe the fight will feature a lot of striking and I hope for another victory, with faith in God”, he comments.

Confident, Johnny believes that winning the WFE can pay him many dividends. “A win in the WFE could be a springboard to fight abroad. In fact, every victory can be considered a springboard for fights abroad, especially at an event like the WFE, which is promising a lot”, he believes.
