Considered a Brazilian promise for the strawweight division (up to 52,1kg.), Luana pinheiro ended up not having the debut of his dreams at UFC Vegas 25. Despite being able to show part of his talent in front of Randa markos, dominating her rival for most of the time she played, the Paraíba native ended up being the victim of an illegal kick applied by the Canadian, who ended up being penalized. Using social media, the Tupiniquim, who was unable to continue the fight after the incident, vented about the situation.

Although he felt frustrated at not winning the way he wanted, Pinheiro ended up making a good impression during the minutes he exchanged forces with his opponent. Sharp in applying takedowns, the Brazilian managed the confrontation with certain ease, until she was hit by the illegal blow, which shook the Paraíba native.
Still, Luana added another positive result to her record as a professional in MMA. Now, the 27-year-old athlete has nine positive results in 10 matches played.
