Despite being focused on defending his belt against Glover Teixeira, valid for the light heavyweight belt (up to 93kg.) in UFC 266, Jan Blachowicz he did not refrain from commenting on his desire to face Jiri Prochazka in the future. After the Czech victory against Dominick reyes last Saturday (1st), the Pole admitted that he wants to do a 'Poland x Czech Republic' fight.

"Hey, Jiri Prochazka. Me and you in Cieszyn (Polish municipality). Poland x Czech Republic. Samurai x Katana”, wrote Blachowicz on his official account on 'Twitter'.
The light heavyweight champion, however, made a point of highlighting that he prioritizes the confrontation against Glover Teixeira before thinking about a confrontation against Jiri Prochazka. He also stated that he will keep his word to face the Brazilian next.
“For all those who did not understand the context of the previous publication and its humorous nature. Of course, Glover is the next candidate. I always keep my word,” continued the Pole.
With the victory in UFC Las Vegas 25, Prochazka achieved his second triumph in Ultimate. Blachowicz 'worn' the belt, defeating the same Dominick reyes by knockout. He has already defended the title once, by overcoming Israel adesanya in the unanimous decision of the judges.
