The Georgia Athletic Commission announced medical suspensions for fighters who participated in UFC-88, held last Saturday in Atlanta. Of the 18 fighters in action, 8 will have to be “sauced” for a few weeks Check out all the suspensions.
Chuck Liddell – Suspended for 60 days and will have to undergo a CT or MRI scan and a neurological evaluation before being able to fight again.
Rich Franklin – Suspended 60 days due to severe cut above his right eye
Matt Hamill – Suspended for 30 days.
Martin Kampmann – Suspended for 30 days. According to a post-combat medical report, he had pain in his jaw.
Thiago tavares – Suspended for 60 days and will require a CT scan to evaluate his face and nose
Michael Patt – Suspended for 42 days and will need a CT scan to fight again. He suffered a fractured nasal septum
Ryo Chonan – was suspended for 42 days due to a large laceration in his right eye.
Matt Brown – was suspended for 15 days due to a cut he suffered in his fight with Kim Dong Hyun.
