Confessed admirer of Kamaru Usman, Dana White continues to be impressed by the Nigerian’s talent. After following the massacre of the welterweight champion (up to 77kg.) in the confrontation against Jorge masvidal, carried out in UFC 261, the 'boss' of Ultimate once again praised his pupil. In a press conference after the show last Saturday (24), the president took the opportunity to fire at the athlete's critics.

“He gets better with each performance. To the people who call you dull, you are an idiot. He hasn't had a boring fight in a while. (…) I love watching him fight. When you look at the beginning of his career, he was a wrestler. (…) He is a completely disciplined athlete”, stated the boss.

In the duel against Masvidal, Usman once again proved to be the best in the category. In the rematch against the North American, the champion had a personal issue to deal with. The athlete had the personal objective of not letting the result go to the judges' decision, as happened less than a year ago, in the first meeting.

Showing aggression, Kamaru didn't give Jorge a chance. Acting confidently and incisively, the athlete impressed the audience and left the octagon with a devastating knockout in the second round.

After the new show, Usman may have an old acquaintance for his next challenge. At the same press conference, White indicated that Colby covington he should be chosen for the title fight.
