Former UFC middleweight champion Evan Tanner was found dead last night in a desert in the Palo Verde region of California. The fighter went on a self-cleaning trip and according to American authorities, he may have died from the heat.
In one of his last sentences, Evan Tanner, who was experienced in adventure travel, predicted the risk of entering the desert alone. “I'm going to the ends of the desert where a simple mistake could cost me my life”
Evan Tanner was 37 years old, debuted in MMA in '97, had 40 fights (32w and 8d) and was UFC middleweight champion in 2005.
