Conor McGregor celebrates UFC 264 success and predicts record breaking

The news that tickets for the UFC 264, confirmed for July 10th, sold out in seconds, I couldn't let it go Conor McGregor more excited. Aware of the success of the event, with just over two months to go, the Irishman celebrated the good news. On his social networks, 'Notório' hinted that the show will go down in MMA history.

In addition to the expectation of a large audience, the July show could be of great importance for the fighter's career. At the UFC 264, the Irish will have the opportunity to discount the defeat suffered by Dustin poirier, in January, and, as a bonus, qualify for a title fight in the lightweight category (up to 70,3kg.).

The clash against 'Diamante' will mark the third battle between the athletes. So far, the dispute is tied, with one victory each.

Former division champion, McGregor lost the title due to inactivity. The athlete had the opportunity to regain the belt, when he faced Khabib Nurmagomedov. Faced with his biggest rival, however, the Irishman ended up overmatched, being submitted in the third round, in what marked the highest-rated event in the history of mixed martial arts.
