The novel between Chris Cyborg and Dana White gained a new chapter this Monday (18). After the UFC president called the Brazilian “irrelevant”, he went back and assured that he tried to sign her to his organization’s roster of fighters. Furthermore, the proposal offered by Ultimate would give her permission to fight in Invicta FC while the UFC does not have a featherweight category. However, Cyborg did not accept the UFC's conditions and was presented by Invicta FC last weekend.

“She would be under a UFC contract, with all the benefits of being a UFC fighter, and would fight for Invicta. Instead of doing that, they chose not to do that and sign with Invicta! If you can make logic out of this whole situation, you are a better man than I am,” White said sarcastically in a chat with journalists after UFC on FUEL 7.
