the entrepreneur of Conor McGregor, Audie Attar gave his opinion on the future of the winner of the Irishman's duel against Dustin poirier, on July 10th. The agent stated that the winner of the fight deserves to face the new lightweight champion (up to 70,3kg) who will emerge from the confrontation between charles do brox e Michael chandler. “I think that makes sense. This is truly a fight between number one contenders in the division. The winner of 'McGregor x Poirier' deserves to face the winner of 'Charles x Chandler'”, declared the agent.
The businessman also spoke about other fight proposals for McGregor, in addition to Dustin. The Irishman, however, is determined to break the tie against the 'Diamond' and prove to everyone that he is still a top-level fighter.
“We were offered other opponent options, but Conor was firm in saying 'no', because he wants to challenge himself and prove to the world that he is one of the greatest of all time,” concluded Audie.
There is a lot of expectation for the new meeting between the Irish and the North American. Fan engagement is such that, recently, Ultimate revealed that tickets sold out in seconds. The show will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and will be attended by fans.
