The Brazilian will face Ukrainian Yaroslav Amosov at Bellator 260, confirmed for June 11th, in Uncasville (USA).. The information was first released by the website 'Yahoo Sports'.

The duel against Amosov will be Douglas' first title defense after becoming welterweight champion again. In October 2019, the Brazilian won the rematch against Rory McDonald, Bellator 250, and resumed leadership of the under-77kg group. Since then, Lima has not held professional MMA fights.

Ukrainian Yaroslav Amosov will defend his unbeaten record in MMA. Professional since 2013, the athlete has won all 25 fights he has competed in so far. Hired by Bellator in 2018, 'Dynamo' won six victories in the organization and thus took second place in the division's ranking.
