Looking to win again in Ultimate, Santiago Ponzinibbio There is already a date set to attempt recovery. The 'Argentino Gente Boa' will face Miguel Baeza in the UFC Las Vegas 28, confirmed for June 5th. The duel will be valid in the welterweight division (up to 77,1kg). The information was released by 'Combate'.

With a record of 27 wins and four losses, Ponzinibbio is already part of the top-10 welterweight division. However, an injury that left him inactive for more than two years, took the Argentine out of the classification. In his return fight, the 34-year-old fighter was knocked out by Jingliang Li in January of this year.

Still undefeated in MMA, Miguel Baeza has stood out in his time in Ultimate. The North American was hired by the organization after beating Victor Reyna, for reality show 'Contender Series', in June 2019. In his three fights for the company, 'The Caramel Thunder' defeated all his opponents in the second round.

The protagonism of UFC Las Vegas 28, which does not yet have a defined location, should be due to the clash between Max Holloway and Zabit Magomedsharipov. The athletes are looking for a title fight in the featherweight category (up to 65,7kg). The duel, however, has not yet been confirmed by the UFC.
