Just over a week until the rematch against Jorge masvidal, Kamaru Usman decided to spice up the challenge scheduled for the UFC 261, which takes place on April 24th. On his social networks, the welterweight champion (up to 77kg.) published a photo in which he appears sporting his belt and the symbolic title (BMF) won by the North American in 2019. The athlete suggested a new positive result, in addition to take the position of 'Toughest' in MMA from his rival.

No UFC 261, Usman will try to prove once again his superiority over Jorge. In July 2020, the fighters exchanged forces in a clash that the North American accepted at the last minute, replacing Gilbert Durinho less than a week in advance.

Kamaru's will, as recently revealed to 'ESPN', is due to the fighter's need to 'mentally break' his rival. Frustrated by having won on points in the first duel, the champion now has to beat the North American on the fast roads.

The April 24 commitment will mark the Nigerian's second appearance of the current season. In February, the athlete faced Gilbert Durinho and beat the Brazilian with a knockout in the third round.

Unlike Usman, Masvidal will have his first commitment of 2021. The athlete has not stepped into the Octagon since his defeat to Kamaru himself, in the UFC 251.
