Multi-time boxing champion, Claressa Shields has a confirmed date for her debut in the PFL

One of the biggest names in recent boxing history, Claressa shields He has a date set for one of the biggest challenges of his career. Multi-champion in the 'noble art', the North American had her MMA debut confirmed for June 10, in the PFL, with the location and opponent yet to be confirmed. The information was made official by the organization on its social networks.

Looking to extend his success in martial arts, Shields will try to prove that he has what it takes to perform at a high level in a different sport. Owner of the belts in the WBC (World Boxing Confederation), WBO (World Boxing Organization), IBF (International Boxing Federation) and WBA (World Boxing Association) – at middleweight and light middleweight -, the North American, now, he will seek stardom in MMA.

Since 2020, the fighter has been preparing for her new test. Recently, the fighter recorded meetings with icons of mixed martial arts for better development. The athlete went to Jackson Wink MMA and received help from Jon Jones e Holly holm – former UFC champions – to discuss their development in the sport.

At 26 years old, Claressa made her professional boxing debut in November 2016. Today, the fighter has 11 victories and doesn't know what it's like to lose in the 'noble art'. In addition to the titles, the athlete also boasts two Olympic gold medals, won in 2012, at the London games, and in 2016, at the Rio de Janeiro games.
