Website names Jaraguá do Sul as the headquarters of the next UFC in Brazil

The return of Ultimate to Brazil should take place in the southern region of the country. But unlike the expected event at Arena do Grêmio, the show should be held in the interior of Santa Catarina. According to the Revista Tatame website, the city of Jaraguá do Sul will host UFC on FX 8, on May 18th. The main attraction of the show will be the middleweight fight Vitor belfort e Luke Rockhold.

Confirmation of the inspection of the Jaraguá Arena to host the show came from Cláudio Tubbs, administration manager at the Ginásio venue. According to him, the verbal agreement between the parties for the city to host an edition of Ultimate has already been agreed.

“Two representatives inspected the Arena in mid-January. We showed them the internal space, the accommodation, changing rooms, emergency exits, TV and radio booths. They carried out a general inspection. There is nothing documented, but there is a verbal agreement, reserving May 18th. It would be good for the city to host the event,” Tubbs said on the magazine’s website.
