Marvin vettori entered the octagon for the main fight of the UFC Las Vegas 23, this Saturday (10), considered a broad favorite for the fight against Kevin holland. With a confident performance, the Italian bought the advantage at the bookmakers and defeated the North American in a unanimous decision by the judges.

In the fight, Holland started better, connecting strong kicks to Vettori's head and body. The Italian, however, preferred not to take any chances on his feet and soon looked for a takedown, but Kevin managed to get up after a few seconds. From the second round onwards, Marvin didn't want to take any chances on his feet and soon tried to fight in the clinch and looking for takedowns. The American only managed to get into danger at the end of the third round, when he managed to get off the ground and connected some punches. Vettori, however, absorbed the attacks, controlled the dispute in the next part and won by unanimous decision from the judges.
