After the news, the PFL chose to disconnect Case from the show and, consequently, from the tournament promoted in the category. In order not to lose a match, the organization acted quickly and looked for a replacement for the North American. Now, Loik will face Alexander Martinez.

Out of action, Johnny defended himself against the accusations and, through a post on social media, regretted what happened. In the text, the fighter states that the supposed case of violence is not true.

“It is with a heavy heart that I announce that I have been withdrawn from the PFL tournament. I am absolutely devastated. All my hard work and sacrifice has been taken away by allegations that are not true. I want to thank the few relatives who came to see me to check on me. You don't know how much this means. Sorry to my fans and supporters. I don't know what the future holds for my career. I will tell my side of the story when the time is right, but right now I just want to be with my family and do what I need to do to move forward for now,” Case wrote in the Instagram.

At 31 years old, Johnny turned professional in MMA in 2007. Over his 12-year career, the fighter had 35 fights, winning 27, losing in seven and drawing in one fight. The fighter worked in the UFC between 2014 and 2017, accumulating four positive results and two negative results.
