Featherweights (up to 65.7 kg.) Alexander Volkanovsky e Brian ortega will be the coaches of the next edition of 'The Ultimate Fighter' (TUF), the UFC's reality show. The announcement was made this Saturday (03) by ESPN in the United States. The attraction's debut date, however, has not yet been announced.

The fight between Volkanovski, featherweight champion, and Ortega should have taken place in UFC 260, held on the 27th. However, the owner of the belt contracted Covid-19 and was removed from the attraction. Now, although the new date for the clash has not yet been announced, the athletes must measure up at the end of the program.

With a record of 22 wins and one loss, Alexander Volkanovsky will defend his second belt. The Australian became division champion after defeating Max Holloway in December 2019, in UFC 245. In July 2020, he successfully defended his belt, defeating the Hawaiian again.
Moreover, Brian ortega, which has a record of 15 positive results and one defeat, gained the chance to compete for the title after a victory over Chan sung jung - known as 'Korean zombie'. Now, he will have to wait until his opponent recovers for the fight to take place.
