Vitor Belfort faces Luke Rockhold on UFC return to Brazil

The UFC's return to Brazil already has its main fight defined. The event, which has not yet announced a date and location, features a duel between the Brazilian Vitor belfort and the North American Luke Rockhold as a highlight of the show. The news was revealed by Dana White, president of the organization, during a chat with the press after the UFC on FUEL 7 press conference in England.

 The duel between Belfort and Rockhold puts the winner very close to competing for the organization's middleweight belt, currently held by Anderson Silva. Vitor, comes from victory over Michael Bisping No. UFC Sao Paulo, in January this year, while Luke, champion of the now defunct Strikeforce, last fought in July last year, when he beat Tim Kennedy.

According to Super Lutas, Rio de Janeiro should host the event for the fourth time, but the city has strong competition from Brasília and Porto Alegre, which are fighting to host an edition of Ultimate for the first time. The show is expected to take place in April.
