“I had a brief phone meeting with UFC lawyer Hunter (Campbell) a few days ago. I made it clear to him that any amount between US$8 (around R$45 thousand) and US$10 million (around R$56,8 million) would be much lower than desired for a fight of this magnitude. Only this has been discussed so far”, wrote the athlete, in the 'Twitter'.

After making it clear that he intends to achieve astronomical figures in the eventual fight against Francis, Jones stated that he will now await the response from the Ultimate board. The athlete, therefore, hopes that the parties reach an agreement.

“Now, I must wait to find out what their offer will be. I hope the numbers are not low. Let’s see what happens”, concluded Jon.
