Upon noticing that Hanson's face continued to swell after the collision, the referee decided to end the duel. The German, who was ahead in the judges' scores, was declared the winner.
Despite the positive result in the fight, Cheyenne Hanson had the left side of her face completely swollen, in one of the most notable injuries in boxing history. The athlete tried to reassure her fans and continues to publish photos of her recovery on her social networks.
With the triumph, the 'Pepper', as she is known, reached her eighth victory in her career, which began in 2018. At 23 years old, the German boxer has a record of eight positive results and only one negative.
