The good relationship of Jon Jones with the Ultimate board it seems to have gone back to square one. Irritated by the provocations made by Dana White after UFC 260, suggesting that 'Bones' should fear Francis Ngannou, the North American has been taking shots at the company on social media. This Monday (29), the legend even asked to be released, but subsequently deleted the messages.

After the ultimatum, Jones didn't stop there. In preparation for his debut at heavyweight (up to 120,2kg), the former champion of the 93kg division. He continued arguing about the fact that he would be happier in another company.

“I feel like they are cutting my wings. (…) I swear the UFC has given me depression. You guys should prefer to count on me instead of treating me like trash. Please fire me”, concluded the legend.

The confusion involving the fighter and the Ultimate management, this time, began after White mocked a possible superfight between the North American and the new heavyweight champion, Ngannou. Confirmed a few months ago as a challenger to the winner of the UFC 260, Dana's speech changed immediately after the Franco-Cameroonian's brutal victory against Stipe Miocic.

In the press conference after the show, White even joked about the situation, suggesting that Jon move to middleweight (up to 83,9kg), instead of submitting to a confrontation against the feared Francis. Upon learning of the agent's statement, 'Bones' didn't take long to speak out on social media.

Considered by many to be the best fighter of all time, Jones has not fought since February 2020, when he last defended his old title. In August, the American made his departure from the division official and confirmed that he would debut in the heavyweight division. Since then, the athlete has been showing his physical evolution to face one of the most dangerous divisions in the sport on equal terms.
