Irritated by Dana's comments, Jones fires at his boss and talks about a possible fight against Ngannou

Former Ultimate champion counters comment from agent, who insinuated the North American's possible fear of facing the French-Cameroonian

After hearing Dana White suggest that he should fear a possible fight against Francis Ngannou, Jon Jones did not spare the boss. Claiming that the American might be scared, the former light heavyweight champion refuted the president's statements. In his accountTwitter', 'Bones' spoke on the subject.

“I gave up the light heavyweight belt and gained a lot of weight. Now, are people saying I'm scared? (…) I have been working hard to gain muscle mass. I never lost a fight. Now, suddenly, I'm scared. What nonsense,” wrote 'Bones'.

At the press conference after the UFC 260, White questioned whether Jones would actually want to face Ngannou. At the time, the 'big boss' stated that the North American should show more desire and not speak out on social media.

“If anyone is wondering if I want this fight (against Ngannou), the answer is 'yes'. I want to get paid too,” Jon posted.

Absolute light heavyweight legend, Jones hasn't fought since February 2020. In the clash, the athlete ended up making the last title defense of his old belt, when he tapped Dominick reyes.
