Dream does not cost a thing. Close to seeing your pupil, Francis Ngannou exchange forces against Stipe Miocic for the heavyweight title (up to 120,2kg.), Eric Nicksick already has a great future in mind for the 'giant'. Before the UFC 260, the coach spoke excitedly about a possible fight between the French-Cameroonian and Jon Jones, which debuts in the division in 2021.

“When we talk about competitors, we have Jon Jones, which is, without a doubt, the best pound for pound in history. Then there's talk of being able to face a guy like him at heavyweight. To be honest, it's probably the biggest fight of all time, if we can promote it,” said Nicksick, in an interview with 'MMA fighting'.
Although I believe in the grandeur of an eventual confrontation between Francis and 'Bones', Eric knows that, for his dream to come true, his student must go through the great Stipe Miocic. Still, a triumph over the current champion could generate engagement for a trilogy. The technician then assessed the scenario.
“This has occupied my thoughts. Now, we obviously need the victory to open up chances for the trilogy. It has to happen on the 27th (UFC 260), so that the third fight bears fruit”, he concluded.
The main fight of this weekend's show will mark the second meeting between Francis and Miocic. In the first clash between the heavyweights, the champion came out on top, dominating the 'giant' and winning on points. Now, the French-Cameroonian will have a second opportunity to win the title.
