“If he (Vera) had beaten me in a decision or in any other way other than me getting injured, I would say I was defeated. I have no problem losing. I lose at the gym all the time. You get up, clap your hands and compete again. One of these days, I'm going to lose a fight, I hope not like this. Then I'll be able to say that someone beat me,” said O'Malley.

O 'Sugar' explained in detail the fatality that occurred in his last fight and stated that it will not influence anything in the fight next Saturday (27). Sean reinforced that he is better than his last opponent and emphasized that he does not consider himself defeated.

“The way I lost that last fight, it wasn’t because he was a better fighter or more skilled. He didn't knock me down. My leg completely gave out and I fell onto my back. It happened like that, but it doesn't affect me at all going into this fight (against Thominhas). In my mind, I'm '12-0', coming off the fight against Eddie (Wineland), and in a good position in the division. I'm in a really good place mentally. I feel good”, concluded the 26-year-old athlete.
