Ready for rematch against the dreaded Francis Ngannou this Saturday (27th), Stipe Miocic It's just trust. Seeking to maintain the heavyweight belt (up to 120,2kg) and further establish himself as one of the best in history in the division, the North American sent a direct message to the challenger. In an interview with 'ESPN', the category leader reaffirmed his superiority over one of the most feared men in the sport.

“I’m more efficient. I learned more about my body. I am stronger, lighter, but stronger and faster. My conditioning (is better). I know they say you can't teach an 'old dog' a new trick, but I feel like I've learned a lot. I learn more every day because of my coaches”, said the champion.
Winner in the first meeting with the French-Cameroonian, in 2018, Miocic understands that the scenario today is different from three years ago. The North American, however, reinforces that he has evolved more than his rival and will maintain his reign in one of the most dangerous categories in Ultimate.
“He (Ngannou) is also improving. He's young and he's hungry. He wants something that I have. Unfortunately, I am the champion and I will not give up. He won’t be a champion until I retire”, he concluded.
Considered one of the best heavyweights of all time, Stipe will seek his fifth title defense with UFC gloves. At 38 years old, the veteran is heading towards his 24th appearance as a professional in MMA. Today, the athlete has 20 wins and three losses.
At 34 years old, Francis will seek to win the belt for the second time since his UFC debut in 2015. Coming from four consecutive victories (all by knockout), the 'giant' has 15 wins in 18 fights in mixed martial arts.
