After a gala performance against J.P. Buys No. UFC Las Vegas 22, Bruno Bulldoguinho continues to reap the fruits of its achievement. In addition to scoring his first victory in the company and, as a bonus, taking home one of the bonuses of US$50 (around 280), the Brazilian renewed his contract. With four more fights under his new contract, the São Paulo native celebrated his current phase in the company.

"It was perfect. Could not be better. I fought well, I knocked out, I got the bonus, I didn’t get hurt and I even renewed my contract”, said the athlete, in an interview with ‘MMA fighting'.
Before stepping into the octagon for last weekend's event, Bulldoguinho came under pressure for a positive result. Brazilian promise in flyweight (up to 56,7kg), the Brazilian had not yet won with the company's gloves in three commitments.
Now, with a remarkable triumph, the São Paulo native's confidence appears to have increased. After the confrontation, the athlete challenged one of the greatest representatives of the category in recent years, Joseph Benavidez. The fighter, however, does not know if he will be attended to.
“We asked, but that doesn’t mean it will happen. I challenged him because he's the biggest name in the division and I would face him now if they let me. It would be incredible. Let’s wait and hear what they say,” he concluded.
If he is accepted by Ultimate, Bruno will have the opportunity to make a significant jump in the division's ranking. The athlete, today, fights to enter the elite of the category led by Deiveson Figueiredo. A veteran in the group and former title challenger, Joseph, despite not having the best moment, is in fifth place.
