Current number four in the ranking led by Shevchenko, Jennifer has not fought since the clash against the current champion, held in November, for UFC 255. On that occasion, the Brazilian even scared the Kyrgyzstani at times, but ended up defeated in a unanimous decision by the judges.

In a complicated phase in the organization, Jessica will try to get back on the path to victory against the Brazilian. Valentina's rival for the title in 2019, when she was knocked out with a kick to the head, the athlete accumulated two negative results in a row. Her last challenge took place in January 2021, being overcome by Joanne calderwood by points.
