Close to returning to Ultimate, Rockhold reveals the possibility of being trained by Khabib

Former middleweight champion (up to 83,9kg) also says he should return to the Octagon in 'August or September'

Luke Rockhold may have Khabib Nurmagomedov in his corner for his return to Ultimate. The North American, who says he is increasingly close and excited about his new phase, revealed that the Russian has the goal of becoming 'Coach of the Year' and is already making plans for the future.

“He is taking on the role of coach now. He's like, 'I have to train you, I have to be here.' Khabib is wanting to train now and wants to become 'Coach of the Year', that's what he wants. He is following in his father's footsteps. I think Khabib is ready to take on that role,” Rockhold said in an interview with 'TMZ'.

“I think I'll go back this summer (August or September). I have to be physically well. I have some problems with my shoulder, but it's getting back to normal. I'm focused on getting back into my ideal shape. It’s good to get back to the gym and focus”, concluded the fighter.
